About Me
Hey!
My name's Emma.
I'm a Jesus-loving homeschooled bookworm who's addicted to Pinterest, YouTube, and Netflix. I'm a #1 supporter of all things girly---clothes, makeup, jewelry . . . you name it. That doesn't mean I don't like Superheroes or Star Wars. Those guys rock. Just don't ask me to decide between D.C. or Marvel. I might explode. What about Harry Potter, you might ask? Wingardian leviosa, all the way. (Did I spell that right?)
Feel free to explore my blog, where I rant, share DIYs and recipes, write book reviews, and pour out my heart. I hope you enjoy it here by the Great Lakes, where I call my home. Proud Michigan fan right here! Go Blue!
I hope you stop by again soon! :))
Bye for now,
Em
My Timeline
2006--2011
I lived in Alaska for five years. My daddy moved there to find a better job. Soon my Mom, little Caleb and I moved there too to be with him. We lived with my dad's parents for a little while before finding a house on Douglas Island. We gained three additions: Drew, Luke, and Sam. I desperately hoped for a little sister but didn't get one until many years later.
2011-2014
We moved back to Michigan in April of 2011. We surprised my Mom's parents on Mother's day.
One hotel and two rental houses later, we moved into our old house on Bassett Street. My great grandma lived there before she died, so it's always been a special place for the Bigelow family.
In January of 2013, Ruth Catherine-Anne is born. I finally got my little sister.
In September of 2014, almost a year later, we find a beautiful two-story colonial house with ten acres and a pool.
2015--2016
In August of 2015, Violet Mae is born. A beautiful baby with dark hair, brown eyes and dimples, Vi was worth the wait.
Our big family of nine is very happy up here in Michigan. We found a wonderful church, wonderful friends, and a wonderful house. We thank God for His many blessings!
My faith
A lot of people say that they believe in God.
When I say that, I'm stating that I believe that a long time ago, God sent His Son to die for the sins of the world. I believe that my sins are forgiven and someday, I'll be able to see God face-to-face in Heaven. That's what I believe.
SO . . . what denomination do I agree with?
My family and I attend a Baptist church on Sundays. We follow & believe in the Bible. Whatever's said in there goes. The Baptist church also has this belief. So I would have to say that the denomination that I most agree with is the Baptist church. But Christianity doesn't have to do with what church you go to, it's what you believe in your heart. So as long as you believe that Jesus Christ is your Lord and Savior, I believe that you are a Christian. :))
